best basic cable box

Hi all

im looking for a basic cable box just to watch tv with a sub. im not interested in recording or any fancy features just HD tv. ive seen and inquired about the Q5 but is there anything else / better.

I am running the miraclebox combo. £150.

I know it's more expensive but I started with the Amiko mini combo
and like a few people got pixalation on some HD channels.

Q5 is a budget box too, like the Amiko.

You may get similar issues.

It may be worth paying a bit more for a better build quality.

thanks again, i was looking a that someone in work got the full miraclebox and likes it but its a lot of cash plus the subs to just get hd

I know what you mean but if you save £60 - 70 on your set up and get
a box that doesn't perform how you expect,

You will have shelled out and still won't have proper HD lol

There is only one cable box you need bees.. KV 780... SD is the new HD..Haha... Very little freezing now but some bloody long scram or no video...

hi, as stated earlier, 2 budget cable boxes are either q5 hd or amiko.
next in line is dm800se cable, then comes micraclebox combo - £150 followed by more expensive boxes.
