Best Remote for Android boxes?

hello,
I am looking for a remote that I can use with Tivimate and other apps.
It will be used with a Chromecast with Google TV
needs to have numpad, page up and down, bonus if there is a scroll wheel

it does have, but cant use the green, red etc buttons and hitting home is not exactly easy (LG c1 magic remote)

most importantly page/channel up and down doesnt work

I use "flirc" usb , with this you can use any IR remote.

Not yet no. Do you need premium to use the extra button? Button mapper can't see the input

Yeah when I had premium it started to work, button mapper. It was a while ago though so I'm not sure about now but it should still be the same. The only thing that doesn't work is the number pad as it seems to switch channels on the TV and not in the app. But I was running the app on the TV.

Maybe an extension cable from chromcast to the front of the tv if you struggle but i suspect it will be fine.

i used a firestick remote, easiest of all, not sure how many of tivimate features i could use but it did just what i needed!

I have my box/device on a shelf below the TV , it’s not in the sight of the remote and flirc works perfectly

Bit late I know but I wondered if you managed to get your chromecast remote working with the flirc usb thingy??

never bought the flirc usb so the answer is no
