its maybe me not understanding yous right m8 , but i pick 4 numbers out of 5 in irish lotto it says add to betting slip, thats all. when i add to betting slip it just has a win bet

am good cheers, had 1st bet last night was bored, but like u im not really betting m8
good good yeah does get boring when you don't have any horse racing or football etc to even look at betting once you start betting on the world sports you end up just throwing the money away if you don't know what the league or racing is like.

This must be costing the bookies an absolute fortune. Feel sorry for anyone who works in the industry.

Makes a change than making a fortune ??.

It certainly does... although that's not much consolation to the bookies shop staff, call centre staff etc who earn probably close to the minimum wage who's jobs are now no doubt in serious danger.

Yeah do feel for all the staff on low paid but the people higher up with the big bonus etc they will say their loosing money but they will still be making money from tempting people in with bets etc and playing virtual darts USA Aussie racing football and e sports might not sound big markets smaller sports but their will be people who find it hard to get out of betting but don’t stop booking offering odds on sports you would never bet on if you had the sports you bet on on at the moment.

That must be a tiny trickle of income though, to a business that's setup to take unimaginable amounts.

Might not be a big income but if their still making money then their happy the amount of people you see on online betting on USA and Aussie racing and giving links for people to sign up etc if people with big following promote stuff like this they know they will make income. Me personally rather keep my money than spend it on any sports at the moment but other people will find this hard when bookies offer people VIP and constantly message you offering big free bets if you stake big. Hope all people keep their jobs with the wage in shop etc staff get.

Yeah but personal betting habits aside, if a business is setup to take massive profits and it only takes comparatively small profits, then it's overheads are not gonna be covered and it won't survive long.

Yeah will be smaller bookies that will struggle and might go under but the bigger names will find a way of getting income from somewhere shall find out when this is over what damage this has done.

@grahamer67 I have this as well and being doing it for 22 years, unfortunately I am still working :ROFLMAO:
Doing a bet on the lotto with a bookmaker is not the same as doing the actual lottery, theres fixed odds for whatever bet you want to do, if you want to do 2 numbers in a double, then its around 40/1, doing 3 is around 320/1, depends of course on which bookmaker you use.

Online bookies dont really accept lucky 15s, yankees, etc, best you can do is pick the 4 numbers and do the dbls, tbls and quad individualy, bear in mind though with the Irish lotto there are 3 draws, plus 3, plus 2 and the main draw, it is drew on a wed at 7.55pm and on a sat at 8 or 8.05pm, you can do a bet on any draw, but its best to do all 3, thats what I do, theres nothing worse than betting on one draw and then seeing your numbers coming out on one of the other draws that you have not had a bet on.

Truth be told mate I've actually registered with GAMSTOP, during this lockdown doubles, trebles, trixies are all good during the day. But the demon that is online casinos can get to you. So The lottery it is for me, that's my only flutter now, 23 years on and still working as my 6 numbers just aint happened :ROFLMAO:

Well done for taking control of the situation. As you say, the temptation to look for something to gamble on is quite a pull.

I jacked in doing the lottery every draw when they put prices up, I reckon if it was still a quid a ticket once a week much more people would do it.

I know what you mean, I have 2 online accounts and I have games and casino excluded on both, betting on the lotteries is included on ordinary sports betting along with horse racing, football, etc, no one should ever do bets on the casino and games as these are set to 80 per cent to 20 per cent in favour of the bookmaker.
