I am trying to cast OTT apps such as JioHotstar, SonyLIV from mobile to Android tv. Any particular VPN service to help with that?

Even when both mobile and TV connected to VPN, it seems there are issues. Hotstar actually mentions suspect use of VPN or blockers, remove and try again. I have tried two popular VPN services with no joy.

Is there any solution to this other than router based VPN? I havent tried it yet as will have to purchase one.

It also seems due to virtual servers - I can never get same IPs on tv/mobile from nord nor express.

Do these OTT service require exactly same IP on both mobile and TV? Or they check other things too? Asking for advise before I commit to a new router.

Same WiFi only, VPN wont work for casting afaik unless router based as need to be on same network.

nord and express. I have got most subscriptions working except Hotstar. I am not sure how they are detecting it. The only thing I can think of is Indian VPNs are virtual servers. The IP on mobile and TV is different.
