Menu, information, network arre you getting an internet connection? If you are it's likely a line issue

It doesn't matter which way round I put my line details into my newcamd does it? I got the vm line first then directly under I have the sat line, no extra space line in between lines. If that even matters?
 
No that doesn't matter. Try a test line from the cable section to rule out line issue

Yeah Im sure Im getting an internet connection it's giving me an IP address and showing number of bytes received and sent.

I bought my sat and cable line from the same provider today. I will give a cable test line a go, good shout. I'll try that and see how I get on.
 
right so I've just a tried a test line and same thing, just a black screen on cable premium. I must be doing something wrong. My box says it is using mcamd_1.38r1 is that ok?

I may be wrong, I don't think i am getting anything through cable even FTA

FTA sd channels will clear on vm without a sub, try these channels, if none of them you aint got a vm signal
 
hi there i am trying to download picons i press green to download but its not downloading anything i got the picon ipk on device but still not downloading i deleted the picon plugin still not downloding anything when i press green to download?:beg:
sorted now had to go and change EPG to picon and other services. thanks

Tried via plugins portal then green to download plugins goto picons 100×60 snp picons are recommended you should be asked where you want them internal flash or usb. If you flashed yesterday's image picons are on by default on root named picon. Press portal red to remove plugins go to picons and you should have snp-full. 100×60-86×46.dark.on.blue

Yes mate have you sorted this if not pm me your line as sent by provider and I'll test it and email you the newcamd.list file
 
how do i get the bouquets ive removed to stay removed from the list also the annoying vm preview channel . no matter how many times i delete /hide the bouquets and remove or move the vm preview channel it re-appears . so annoying , never did this only started to happen since last image re-install
 
Dsayers, will the OTA ATV update work on the new image? or best to still avoid at the moment due to the issues?

CrossEPG doesn't appear to work on the new image?

It get's stuck on Starting Downloader when you run it..... then bombs out to the DVB Service Channel.....

Any ideas?
 
Yes ota updates are fine with the image I did yesterday. I'll have a look at crossepg

Sorry for the late reply I've for some reason left other providers on crossepg. Press menu, setup, crossepg, go through all the providers and untick them apart from opentv providers- sky uk opentv (astra2 on 28.2) needs to be ticked ill sort a new flash over the weekend with it sorted

Sorry I haven't used wifi so I'm not sure maybe openat has removed support for the driver needed for your dongle
 
Is it possible to load this on to the old Topfield CRC-2400 I thought I'd binned but found in the cupboard under the stairs?

Quick question - If I want to update my image, do I reflash as per 1st page of this thread, or is there a better way of doing it? Also, will I have to go through the whole setup process again, ie searching, adding my lines etc?

H2H is working fine using the image on it, which I setup about 3 weeks ago, but I've notice last couple of days that the EPG is missing info on quite a few channels, they channels are there just noting in the EPG, selecting them works fine, but obv I don't know whats on them without selecting. Have done an EPG refresh but not fixed it.

If you reflash yes follow the instructions from post one but you don't need to initialise the storage device just add line and scan channels etc.

I had to update the image due to ota updates making the box stick on boot.

If you don't run ota updates then you don't need to reflash.

For epg goto menu, setup, epg, Load/Save/Delete choose delete then run crossepg then epgrefresh.
