I can't add images on mobile so will add in the morning - but it is in menu, setup, EPG, settings (which is right at the bottom)

This is the epg setting I cant see a update every 24 hours option at the bottom

Hold on software updates, theirs a bug causing the text to continuously shrink on the second infobar on the latest software update a fix has been found and reported so hopefully sorted soon along with a delete option for epg data. Software updates are now fine to run

Ive also added a delete option to the epg menu, Load/Save/Delete on the software update

Sorry - on the first screen if you set Automatic refresh to yes then you get another option to set how often it refreshes. The third option down - that should be set to NO?

Okay - I will try that and see what happens. If I force a EPGRefresh Now it works - but haven't seen it work on it's own yet even though it is set to start between 5.00am and 5.10am latest.
I noticed an option in EPGRefresh settings which said delay if box is not in StandBy = 10 mins - does box have to be in standby for EPGRefresh to start? Never had to on the Vix image.

Upto you I have it to no try it with yes and 24 hours.

No it doesn't need to be in standby but will start 10 minuets later if not. You shouldn't be having gaps in epg like that. Try with those settings and see what happens

Hi, can anyone help me with a possible cam config problem. I have this image running great on both VM and Sky. I have mgcam running with a separate CWS line for VM and Sky. The VM line clears no problem all the time every time. My Sky line, after being on freeview channel or a VM channel for a long time, fails to clear when i switch back to a paid sky channel. I press blue button and restart the cam, and then it clears again and is smooth. So it seems to "time out" or something. I seem to remember on my old dreambox the ncamd.cfg file had a CWS Keep alive line, or something like that, but i dont on my current cfg file, do i need to add this or does anyone have any ideas why i have to keep restarting my cam? Thanks

Great and easy instructions. Couple of Qs?
1. Will channel update automatically, if Sly change his Frequency and add new channels?
2. Do I need Subscription for both VM & Sly? or after flash I keep VM sub only ?

1. Yes channel changes happen automatically apart from when a vm channel changes number I need to add it to the custommix.xml then you just run the sat_282_uk_CustomMix.xml updater plugin then abm

2. Yes you need both sky and vm lines and connections. Or do you mean genuine subscription? if so no just vm bb will do

yes, i have attached both sly and vm wired connections to my H2H box. But I only have N-Line for vm not for Sly.

You need one for sky aswell. If you don't want a sky line just vm try Bioheads image

For people who have EPG Refresh issues with VM, install the EPG Importer from plugins > download plugins > extension > EPG Importer

Then restart gui if the plugin isn't within plugins after being installed.

Launch plugins, go onto EPG Importer > Sources > Tick Rytec UK VM > Save > Manual then wait till all the channels EPG data are gathered and then this should update similar to EPG refresh but EPG importer seems to work really well for VM channels.

I had issues with EPG Refresh missing some EPG data for sly sports channels and the movies future epg. The EPG importer seemed to have fixed it for me.

Will give that a try. Do you need to do anything with EPG refresh or just leave it as it is and does EPG impoter run automatically?

Sorry missed that one out setup is different to vix and I thought it was on default.

Press down for epg (channel selection screen) then menu, settings change enable panic button yes leave it at default it will change to 101 or choose what you want it set at
