yes just creating the backup now then i need to upload it to my dropbox account then upload it to the firmware section once approved ill amend the first post this has the new vskin as well as the latest slyk1hd. Ive also added channel numbers via a plugin that does not seem to clash with dreamplex i was trying to hack the new config updater so when i need to do a new custom.xml all you would need to do is update it via the box rather than having to ftp it but i couldn't suss it,
 
Awesome - when you are ready to test, let me know and I'll give it a blast - already got your latest version on and the Vskin on as well - if there's anything I can do to help I'll do so.... working from home today :)

I presume for upgrade, you just load the file over the top - no settings to be changes etc?

ill pm you to test it its still waiting in the moderation que. do an install as you did the first time apart from initializing your storage device you will need to reinput your line, netid and setup autobouquet marker.
 
I have this installed on my H2H downstairs and it runs great so gonna replace my S2 in the bedroom to a H2 would this image work on that

Other than Sky Arts HD - I don't think it's available on Virgin and the non-clearing Sky version is in the bouquet. EDIT - it is available on cable, but won't clear for me. ah well. Still, the Sky version is in the bouquet

Apologies didn't get time to test! LOL! But I've installed now and it's all good! Fantastic

Only question - Boomerang HD in kids - doesn't work? Didn't before just wandered if anyone knew why?
 
Boomerang HD isn't working for me I'll have to check the custom.xml that's the issue with this there's so many channels to check but that makes it more interesting thanks for the heads up

Check that you have a connection to box menu, information, network you should have a green light at the bottom.

Sky arts HD is showing the cable version is anyone else having issues with this
 
No that's cool, thanks very much, only other ones I've noticed are some of the adult ones I think give same just black screen when you go to them (blushes ;))

Is there anything we can do to check them for you or let you know others that give black screens and don't seem to work (clearly I've got access on my 'gift' for both all Sky and All Virgin.

Yes any channels that aren't working tell me the sky channel numbers and check the cable version here https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Virgin_Media_television_channels and tell me the vm channel number if the channel isn't showing in the above link ie boomerang HD that means I'll have to add the sky sd version to the custom.xml then add the second sd version to the delete section. I can't get to my laptop at the moment bloody kids have took it lol I'll definitely need to look at sky arts HD because that's working fine for me.

With the adult channels your sky provider may not have purchased them all it will cost a lot to purchase them so some only buy one package

I'll work through them all now one by one......will let you know.

you could be right on the adult ones actually....work OK on freeview I think....
 
Yes it's down to your provider to add them like I said they are using real sky cards so it would cost too much to subscribe to them all
 
So I've found:

BBC 4 HD (not broadcasting at mo) but when go to channel get "Service not Found" (SID not found in PAT) - reporting as a bug, can error message be gotten rid of?
Sky Arts HD (It's listed twice) The first channel doesn't work (between ITV4HD and Sky Living+1)
Sky Arts HD second one works fine - between ComedyXtra and Sky1+1

I have noticed something weird on the Sky Arts - the programmes on are different - is there a +1 maybe and one of them is that?

Normal BBC Four - same error as above, Service not Found etc

TLC+1 - Tune failed??

DMAX - Tune failed??

AMC from BTHD (programmes start at 7pm) - but this time for a Tune Failed message?

Quest +1 - got a really bad pixelated picture - probably my service rather than the firmware (Tune Failed message across the screen)

Lifetime +1 - Tune Failed?

TLC+2 - really bad pixelated picture - (tune failed message across the screen)

Showcase - Tune Failed?

DMAX+1 - bad pixelated picture - Tune Failed

Home&Health+ Bad pixelated picture - Tune Failed

Discovery Shed - Bad pixelated Picture - Tune Failed

The Africa Channel - Service Not Found (SID Not found in PAT) - EPG didn't indicate channel started later...

That's what I've found to start with - can't gurantee some of these issues arn't with my line though!
 
Zgemma stuck on boot goes to 99 then restarts.... How do I reflash... I tried inserting usb but still boots instead of flashing ... Help please

reformat usb using hp format tool place the zgemma folder on usb power off the box using the back power button insert usb in the back usb port then power on the box using the back power button then the box should flash. was it my image that was already on if so what was you doing before it went into bootloop? ie what plugins or skin did you edit or install?

sid not found is normally when the channel isnt been aired till a certain time or the wrong frequency all i can suggest is a rescan tune failed sounds like a an issue with the signal i would check the dish alignmend thanks for the sky arts issue ill add the sky version to the delete section and check the other channels.

Hi, I can connect to box via FileZilla no problem so I have a connection. I can't access network via menu/info as the box keeps crashing due to using dreamplex. Does the zip file inside the image backup folder need unzipped before u ftp to media/hdd on box?
