I've uploaded this file to my mediafire account & generated a downloader code - FilmPlus-v2.3.9r - Downloader code - 7298525
Anyone can do this, just log in to mediafire, upload any app, copy the link & then generate a downloader code from HERE

Is anyone else having an issue with 2.3.9r?
If you are browsing through the app looking for something to watch it will jump back a few pages to a screen you were looking at previously, as if you hit the back button on the remote.
On certain pages like the 'Now Playing' page it sends you back to the Firestick home page.
It's not the firestick because BeeTV works ok.

It doesn't do it when you are watching something but it has started to do that thing again where a feed stops working at exactly the same time stamp, irrespective of which feed you choose. Only way to get around it is to skip past that time stamp before you reach it.
It doesn't happen on every program and it is happening on Beetv too so I think it must be on the feed links, maybe where ads should appear.

Yes ive noticed the stream freeze at specific time stamps. on a couple of apps soo agree its the files the free streams these programs are using.

Not noticed the any apps jumping back a few pages while browsing though.

There is a fix for these issues though but not with these free streams apps.

Stremio and a RD account.

I wonder are there ads embedded into the streams and the modified apps are stopping them showing.
But it usually stops at a weird place in the show, maybe part way through an actors line, not a natural spot for an ad break.

Its doubtfull tbh.

Its more likley to be corrupt files.

You could test this, find a ink that comes via 1337x as an example if it freezes go to the 1337x site and play the same file in the embedded on site player.

If it freezes at the exact same spot its the file most likley.

I had hoped this update would fix the jumping back problem but it made it worse.
It was jumping back a couple of pages when looking through the listings but only once.
Now it keeps jumping back several times. You only have a few seconds to browse a page before it jumps. Eventually it will stop jumping.
It's as if you are continually hitting the back button on the firestick remote.
It now only goes back as far as the Filmplus home screen. Before this it would return to the firestick home screen.

I'm wondering if it is my firestick that is the issue. It managed to sneak an update recently even though I have them disabled.

I wonder if this is a similar issue to mine - after a short time, my tablet pops up a window to say "Unfortunately Filmplus has stopped". If I'm on the first screen, for example the "Trending" list, it just exits, but if I'm on the next level, looking at a list of seasons, or picking an episode, it goes back to the first level. If I'm actually watching something, when I exit, it goes back to the sources list, then the episodes list, as if nothing had happened. Other than if I am scrolling down the trending list looking for something, it doesn't really affect watching stuff, and even if I am, it's probably a minute or more before the message pops up - I'll try to time it later, see if it's consistent. Mine's a Samsung tablet, though, so maybe not the same issue.

Sounds very similar so I'm glad to know it's not just me it is happening to.
On mine you barely have time to read a program synopsis before it will jump back.
On the list of links to watch a show you have only a few seconds to select a link before it jumps back.

Something really strange is going on!

As well as the jumping back screens described previously I had also lost the ability to use subtitles when using this app on my firestick.

I was watching Young Sherlock which has some spoken parts in Chinese.

I decided to update this app midway through watching an episode of this show.

All of a sudden I had subtitles again and when the show was over it stayed on the same screen without jumping back.

Brilliant I thought, this update has cured the problems I have been suffering.
Unfortunately it was only temporary.

I was looking for another show to watch and it started jumping back screens again. I went back to the same episode of Young Sherlock, used the same stream and I have lost subtitles again!

Wtf is going on? Is there something corrupting the app shortly after installation?
