Any reason to use USB to flash rather than online flashing?

Online flashing seems much simpler.

You still need an initialised usb stick in the box
It's easier couch flashing yes, but if the image is very old, Eg atv 6.0, it won't flash to newest image in one, you have to flash atv 6.1, then to 6.2, then to 6.3 whereas with a usb you can do it in one go

Vix can be flashed if on a very old image to its latest and no messing around.

The online flash is no good if you can’t get to it say you box won’t boot

I've got a choice of OpenATV 6.2, 6.3, 6.4 OpenVix 5 and OpenPLI and another one to choose from online
