Cable from newport south wales

i`m only getting 396 channels (ish) and am struggling b4 the scan to find the cable id , the only area thats an option to me is BRIDGEND , surely theres something nearer but its not in the settings..

what am i doing wrong ?

That amount of channels is about right for cable.

So it doesn't sound like you are doing anything wrong.

Cheers try and get sky and cable running on same box . Boy watches sky 1 plus one and its not on virmin

Have you got Cable and sky connectors going into the back of your box?. If so you should be able to set up to scan both Virmin and Sly.
Use autobouquestmaker settings and set up your providers details.
If you set this up correct then Setanta will appear.

setanta is on sky roi, have you got that sat bouquet, or saved setanta to favourites?
396 channels wil be cable, you should have around 1000 with satellite
