THOUSANDS of Celtic supporters were at the Nike Store in Buchanan Street, Glasgow, as a number of first-team stars helped launch the new Celtic away kit.
Gary Hooper, Kris Commons, Ki Sung Yueng and Joe Ledley all modelled the new kit before meeting fans and taking part in a special Q&A session in the Nike Store.
Midfielder Kris Commons told the official Celtic website: "It's fantastic how many people have turned up for the launch of the new away kit.
"We were amazed at the number of fans who came along to support us when we were in Australia and now that we're back home, thousands of our fans have turned up at the Nike Store today.
"It's another sign of just how big this club is and how incredible our fans are."
The new Celtic away kit can be pre-ordered now and will be available for fans to buy from August 9.
The body of the shirt consists of grey and white hoops, each bordered by a thin Celtic green stripe - with a green crew neck collar and sleeves, each with a white silicone strip near the hem containing the year of Celtic’s foundation 1888. On the back of the shirt below the neck it reads ‘Celtic’.
The away shorts are green with a white stripe on the back near the bottom of each leg, while the socks are white with a green band at the top, and two grey hoops with ‘CFC’ featured at the centre on the back of each calf.
To complement the new matchday kit Nike has launched a unique Celtic line of training and lifestyle clothing for both players and fans to wear on and off the pitch.
The team will wear the new away kit for the first time on August 7 when they take on Aberdeen at Pittodrie.
CELTIC’S friendly against Wolves will take place at Celtic Park next Wednesday, July 27 (kick-off: 7.45pm).
It will be first chance fans will have to cheer on Neil Lennon's Bhoys at Paradise since last season as Hoops centenary year legend, Mick McCarthy is bringing his Premiership side north of the border.
McCarthy returns to the ground where he was a hero of the 1987/88 double-winning side of season 1987/88 in what was a memorable era for the defender as a member of that successful Celtic side and a magnificent Republic of Ireland outfit.
Of course, he went on to manage the Republic side before returning to club management and he has been pulling the reins at Molineaux since 2006.
Tickets for the match are available at £15 for adults and £5 for concessions, and the game is also a season book match.
Tickets can be purchased by calling the 24-hour booking line (subject to booking fee) 0871 226 1888*, online by clicking HERE or by visiting the Celtic Ticket Office.
Tickets are also available in the following Celtic retail outlets: Argyle Street, Sauchiehall Street, Clydebank, Coatbridge, East Kilbride, Edinburgh, Belfast, Derry, Inverness
The Ticket Office is open Monday to Friday, 9am ‘til 5pm.

CARDIFF CITY…0
CELTIC…1
Stokes 34
CELTIC completed their pre-season preparations with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Cardiff City in the Welsh capital.
Anthony Stokes struck the only goal of the match in the first-half, heading Emilio Izaguirre’s cross into the corner of the net.
After that, the Hoops took command against their Championship opponents, leaving trialist goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa with little involvement.
In the latter stages, new Bhoy, Victor Wanyama, came on to make his Hoops bow, capping off a fine evening’s work for Neil Lennon’s side ahead of Sunday’s SPL opener away at Hibernian.
With Scott Brown absent, Joe Ledley was named as captain against his former side. Adam Matthews also started the match, having only left the Bluebirds for the Hoops this summer.
Croatian internationalist, Pletikosa, was also given a chance to impress, with Wanyama named among the substitutes.
Ex Celt, Malky Mackay, was in charge for his first home match as Cardiff manager. Eager to impress their new boss, the hosts began with plenty of gusto.
From Don Cowie’s corner, Aron Gunnarson looped a header against the top of the bar, before Andrew Taylor volleyed over from the edge of the area.
Celtic replied with a stinging low drive from Kris Commons which shaved the post. However, it was the hosts doing the most of the early running and Jonathan Parkin passed up a golden chance to open the scoring, breaching Celtic’s offside trap but blazing his shot wide.
Gradually the Hoops grew in ascendency, though, and a brave header from Stokes brought out a smart save from ex-Celt David Marshall.
The Irishman was proving the visitors’ most dangerous operator and he came close again with a curling free-kick from 25 yards following a foul on Ki.
And in the 34th minute, the striker put the Hoops ahead. Emilio Izaguirre, making a welcome return to the first-team after injury, was the supplier, sending over a wonderful delivery from the left which Stokes headed into the far corner past the despairing dive of Marshall.
At the other end, Pletikosa had seen little involvement. It took until the 41st minute for his first save of note, snaffling Joe Mason’s shot at the second attempt.
The Hoops began more brightly after the interval, forcing several corners and Izaguirre blasting over from the edge of the area.
Slick link-up play between Hooper and Stokes inside the box saw the former find the target with a low shot only to be denied by Marshall.
Both sides then made a string of changes yet that failed to halt the Hoops’ momentum.
Fastening onto a loose header, Hooper left Mark Hudson trailing in his wake but dragged his shot wide from a tight angle.
And with the Welsh side tiring, it was increasingly one-way traffic. Substitute Charlie Mulgrew saw his header edge past the far post from Izaguirre’s free-kick before Shaun Maloney was denied a late goal by a block after spinning in the box.
The final whistle confirmed Celtic’s third win on the spin, sending the visiting support home happy and ensuring Lennon’s men go into Sunday’s clash at Easter Road with plenty of confidence.

With Scott Brown suspended for the opening two matches, Kris Commons will slot in on the right wing while Lukasz Zaluska takes his place between the sticks for the first time since March.
The match in Edinburgh kicks-off at 12.30pm and is live on Channel 67.

Subs: Cervi, Matthews, Mulgrew, Wanyama, Forrest, Maloney, Samaras
ANTHONY Stokes opened Celtic’s 2011/12 campaign with an early goal at his old hunting ground before Ki Sung Yueng rounded off the 2-0 victory against Hibernian in the capital.
The Hoops collected their first three points of the season with a goal in each half, but were unfortunate not to enjoy a greater margin of victory when Gary Hooper’s penalty cracked off the post just after the hour mark.
Neil Lennon handed Kelvin Wilson his competitive debut while Lukasz Zuluska took his place between the sticks for the first time since March. Apart from that, though, it looked like a typical starting XI from last season.
The Hoops were well-organised from the start but it was Hibs who created the first real opportunity on nine minutes. Ivan Sproule, starting his second spell at Easter Road, made a break in Hibs’ half but the counter attack ended with Callum Booth hitting a low effort straight into Zaluska’s arms.
And the home side continued to throw bodies forward, causing problems for the Celtic backline. Garry O’Connor, also starting his second spell at the Edinburgh side, couldn’t angle his header on target, and failed to take advantage of David Wotherspoon’s good build-up.
Just two minutes later, though, Celtic changed the direction of play and capitalised on their first effort on goal. Stokes controlled Kris Commons’ free-kick at the far post, and with 13 minutes on the clock, the former Hibee struck it into the top corner from tight angle.
Mark Wilson, who was captain for the afternoon due to the two-match suspension Scott Brown has carried forward from last season, had the ball in the net on 19 minutes. The low drive under Graham Stack, however, was ruled offside.
Sproule almost set up the equaliser for Hibs just before the half hour mark when he played a pass across the box to Wotherspoon, but the onrushing midfielder couldn’t make the crucial touch in time to do the damage.
The second-half burst into life on 51 minutes when Booth’s long-ball found Sproule, who managed to beat the offside trap. Racing into the penalty area, though, he was closed down by three defenders.
Celtic switched play five minutes later, with Gary Hooper and Joe Ledley both threatening in front of goal. It was Ki who struck the killer second, though, on 63 minutes after Stokes provided him with the pass.
The South Korean unleashed a low, left foot drive, reminiscent of his Scottish Cup final goal in May, 20 yards out and slotted the ball into the left corner to double the Hoops’ lead.
Four minutes later, Hooper was given the chance to add to the scoreline. Sproule brought Emilio Izaguirre down inside the box following a wonderful lay-off by Ledley, but the striker couldn’t convert the resulting penalty.
Slamming the ball off the keeper’s right post, Stack was able to keep Celtic out and maintain a level of hope for Hibs who were still trying to edge their way back into the game.
With less than 20 minutes left on the clock, though, time was running out for the home side and substitute Georgios Samaras came close to edging Celtic further ahead with one of his first touches of the ball.
James Forrest, who had replaced Kris Commons just before the second goal, made a solo run down the right flank with four minutes remaining. Weaving his way into the box showing tremendous pace, the Scotland internationalist’s was causing problems for Hibs, but his shot was blocked at the final hurdle.
Ki had the last chance of the match, unleashing an even more ambitious effort than the one he scored with, but from 30 yards he was unable to keep the powerful shot on target and the game ended 2-0, with Celtic comfortably winning their first three points of the new campaign.
