GrogBuild Grogbuild Error Using OpenVix

Flash it
It will ask you which partition you want to install willobuild/Vix on, choose a different partition.
Then when you boot the box, it will ask if you want to use grog/atv or willo/vix

It's similar to different operating systems on a computer, you can have vista on one partition and windows 10 on another

Yeah I guessed that tbh your setup through gives you the option to use both atv & vix through so maybe needs some tidying up if vix won't run your build.. Just a thought lol
Yes you're right, I just never got round to removing it as I did start on a py3 version but it threw up so many errors it got put on back burner and I forgot to remove the vix option.

I am just running your version but on Vix as it does chuck up some errors as explained in thread, might help you in the long run if you do move over to Vix later on

Log File Attached - Managed to locate the file seems to be a skin error for - Slyk1080ClockToText

I am going to try the another skin see if i get the same issue

dmesg

It seems it can't load the top picks images in the skin.
It may need storage space, initialise a usb and reboot the box to see if it loads ok

That was next question is it best to initialise the USB via windows first maybe create the partitions I need let's say two to run two different builds then install them on the selected partitions so that way I don't keep loosing what's already done?

The H7 has 4 slots already built in on the internal flash so you can install 4 different images.
If you flash using putty it will ask which partition you want to flash to.
You can choose which image to use from the multiboot option in the standby/restart section of the menu.

You will need to have your storage formatted as ext4 R/W and mounted as /media/hdd

OK kwl testing now then see if I can get this to work 🤣

Is your storage mounted okay?
You can flash Grogbuild ATV on another partition if it is.
Sorry wanted to get the other bot tested out to make sure another skin worked fine using Vix & Grogbuild..

Now going to setup the mount to allow me to use multiboot

The mount has nothing to do with multiboot. It is just for storage.
Flashing online requires storage to be mounted correctly so that it has a place to download the files to.

Both Builds being Willobuild & Grogbuild are now fully functioning on Zgemma H7C thanks guys

I had to dive into the settings in willobuild to remove the sly and freesat boutiques which was quite easy to do..

Just one final question on willobuild I have two boutiques that I need to get rid off see last two images attached. Can't find where to remove them from unless I have missed it 20220322_135119.jpg20220322_135203.jpg20220322_135347.jpg20220322_135357.jpg20220322_135428.jpg20220322_135452.jpg20220322_135512.jpg20220322_135316.jpg20220322_135325.jpg

MENU > SETUP > TUNERS & SCANNING > AUTOBOUQUETSMAKER > CONFIGURE
Change 'Keep all non-ABM bouquets' to 'no'

Exit out of the CONFIGURE menu and go into the 'Keep Bouquets' section and tick all of the bouquets you want to keep.
Save and scan again.

Tried your walk through but them same boutiques are still there after a scan has been completed

You haven't followed it properly then. There is no favourites or last scanned BOUQUET if you disable keeping non-ABM bouquets, SAVE with the green button and rescan.

If you're messing about with my build you ought to post in my thread rather than clogging up Grogs.
