grogbuild software update

Hi im trying to install grogbuild on a zgemma s2 followin the inst. here
GrogBuild - Grogbuild FreeRange for all enigma2 boxes
my problem is, it goes thro the motions and installs openatv but it does NOT install grogbuild
always boots OPENATV
any ideas guys

Those are only suitable for satellite will not run iptv and very slow to at the best of times.

Why can you not install it as per guide with putty or webif ?

on my USB stiick is a folder 4.0 KB "grogbuild"
this is a snapshot how do i get grog on box thanx

It's been a while since using OpenATV I think it's

Blue button, software manager restore settings.

Why can you not install it as per guide with putty or webif ?

when i install it it installs openatv but Not Grogbuild , dont know why tho

How are you trying to install Grogbuild?
By command line in openwebif?
Is the usb stick initialised before you begin?

hi m8 i am using a usb flash drive , it is Initialised and im using openwebif
the box flashes ol untill restart, it did say " fast renboot " but it just kept rebooting fast reboot,
if i remove the usb it boots up but no grogbuild

The 'fast reboot' takes ages, it's definitely not fast.
If you leave it, it will eventually finish.
When Grogbuild asks at the beginning 'do you want to save lines and whatnot'
Are you clicking yes or no?
It might be better to click no

im clicking no m8. i will try reflashing again leaving it Fast reboot but i did leave it for about 10-15 mints last time

About 20-30 minutes last time I flashed an old box, newer boxes don't take as long

It could be the PSU, try a different one if you have one off a different box/device

Hi again finally got it installed with a reflash and let it go thro fast restoe and it worki ng now , 1 thing openwebif wont display terminal to let me neither does filezilla but im using the correct ip address in any ideas

On openatv 6.4 you have to set a password using the remote then use that password to login FileZilla or terminal.
Menu, setup, system, network, password setup

ye i ve set password but still the same wont let me in
filezilla says

Connection attempt failed with "EAI_NONAME - Neither nodename nor servname provided, or not known".
Error: Could not connect to server

Put up address in 192.168 etc.
Put root as username
And then your password
Click quick connect
