how does r4 cards work

iv been reading these threads about r4 cards and they seem very interesting
can some one please explain me the basics please
i have a dsi and a ds3d
thanks again people:binoculars:

First off R4 cards today are all clones of the original R4card which was the first flashcart to allow multiple games to be stored on a cart,i always recomend the Acekard 2i with the Akaio firmware on it,the only limitations then are the size of the micro sd card you use to acompany the flashcart, anywhere from 2gb to 32gb

cheers again sinno
wheres the best place to buy acekard 2i would u say and what ds version do they work on
how do i know which firmware to use and how to i go about putting games on the drag and drop
or do i need a specific program
please reply and thank you for the feedback :peace:

They work on all DS's (DS lite, DSI, DSI XL, and 3DS), I get them from goldenbridge in hongkong, so it takes a while to arrive, but I know sinno uses someone within europe, I am sure he will reply with where.
When you get your card, at that stage either Sinno or I will point you to the latest firmware at that moment, they generally come with firmware on, but sometimes it is not the latest.

Code:
http://www.eachgame.hk/search.php?category=0&keywords=acekard+2i

this page shows the different size SD cards and the prices of them. Where are you in the world, just so we can point you to the best site for your region, (country will do, don't want your postal adress or anything lol)

Sorry, just had a look around through the DS section and found one of the places that Sinno recommends, it is the address below. you should probably compare card sizes and prices.
