Hi all.
Recently acquired an oLED so wondering wether the symbols that appear in the corners of my TV that seem to accompany my service are a cause for concern. Worried about burn in.
Could my provider disable them?

My understanding is that if the sky sports logo is there for hours on end days on end it will. Not many would watch sky in such a way though.
The thing for me is when i cgange channel i have the same logo in same spot, although it does seem to change to a different logo depending on channel, think ive counted 3.

I'm sure this used to be an issue with plasma screens due to heat, since the introduction of LCD and then LED, I thought that issue was removed

I’ve had a new panel fitted in my LG OLED after 9 months with screen burn from the Sky news ticker tape running across the bottom. I only watched sky news for about 30 mins in the morning and about the same at night. After 6 months the new panel is the same.
I was never warned about screen burn by the store that sold me the tv. If you google OLED screenburn you will see there is a problem with these tv’s. Just be careful how you watch your TV.

Have a look here I don't know if it will help much
