What prices have u guys been paying for these boxs? one on flebay for 340 quid ouch

They are £250.00 not a penny more would i even pay.
As for the firmware its put on with a usb pen as below
format pen drive to fat32
put file on pen drive
turn power to box off
put pen drive into box
switch power back on
Quick flash on the screen will appear then screen goes blank
box boot's up again you need to get into menu and select Software Upgrade
press ok then your firmware will appear on screen
just press the ok button again
after the box reboots again it will ask for Cable scanning and after that its just like the old box.

Do some research and go down the SAT side, if you have dish up it will be aiming at sky TV, buy a blade media or something similar and never look back.
Seriously stop fooking about with cable and wasting your time.
I agree the Blade media is far better, I have one in the ball n chains, Much better, However in mine i cannot get a signal via dish due to dense trees, so kv is my only option, will wait a while before they get my money and see what others are reporting on the box

You are the first person i have seen a post saying they are having a problem, i would suggest you check your cable and not having splitters on it, also making sure you have your correct Net ID as from your subbed box, if you dont have a subbed box and just have a connection connected via your BB its down to a signal problem regardless of what you see on the screen signal wise.
Like I said I tried a few, like Eden HD and E4 HD but no picture. In term of connection, only BB and the box nothing else on this line, the same set up as it was with the A780 (gave it to a friend). I’ll play with it more when I have time and see if there is anything else I could have done wrong. I’m glad to hear your view here, sound more positive.
Thank the lord then as you were makeing some comments there that was putting me right off, (infact the 780 is better ect!) i may give this new box a try, as i think the sd is shite once your used to the blade. Box T you say u would not pay more than 250 any rec's on were to buy? and does has anyone yet uploaded the firmwear???

Barry do you not think if the software was supposed to be in the public domain it would be out their already, same way the box is not advertised on any suppliers website.
Removing the link did you a favour, as it included your personal details and you may have had a knock/boot on your door.
