I cannot fault z8, apart from price, should I have went for a shield, for extra £ . Not sure.

The shield does not have a dedicated IPTV remote though, so the Z8 is better if just for IPTV. Still a good choice mate

I'm the other way round I have 4k vod and a uno4k box but no 4k tv lol

What's the black banding like on 4k VOD? Ford v Ferrari is the worst I've seen yet.

The screen will have a black or grey band top and bottom some films bigger than others. Like a letterbox.

My uno4k seems to down scale vod on my TV and yes Ford v Ferrari seems to be bad with borders but on my phone seems fine

Yes and a 4k TV will not fix that.

Get a 4K firestick. The extra money is worth it over the standard firestick got the difference in performance. Like other have said they are a very good price and you can have all your apps in one place.

Thanks all decided to go with a amazon firestick 4k to trial a iptv sub, which I will have to research

bare in mind used those openbox bazza mentioned for ages which are rock chip processor
