MANY CONNECTIONS, HELP

I don’t think it unreasonable to be able to use your one connection where you like.
If you either travel for work or go away on weekend breaks to a holiday home.
It shouldn’t make any difference to the supplier.
Unless they want to get more money out of you for having another connection that you can use away from your home.
I can use mine anywhere, because my supplier allows it, IPTV is a dodgy game and don't forget you're breaking the law, by definition we're all dodgy so what's to stop you loading your mates firestick with your details so one of you gets free TV?

I get what you're saying but I don't agree with the you should be aloud bit. I think you need to remember what you're getting for your sixty quid a year or so. Go to sky, pay £120 a month and you've still got to pay extra for multi-room, I get good treatment from my suppliers but I've proved myself to them
any normal provider lets you use a single connection on any device whether at home or even in the pub for example as long as two devices are not connected at same time.

We all know it’s dodgy without question.
Yes, you could do that, but that connection can only be used at any one time so you could only use it when your friends not using it and your friend could only use it when you’re not using it.
You would have to set up a timetable between yourselves or contact each other every time you wanted to use it.
Not something I’d be interested in doing to be honest.

That is exactly my point and which sounds reasonable.
But on here, we don’t know exactly who are sellers and who aren’t making the argument for or against the idea.
The best thing to do is when you take a trial, ask the supplier if you can use your connection in any location with a VPN if you want to.
Then you will have no come back and know for definite.

Doesn't always work like that tho, on one of my old suppliers, I got a friend a sub and I discovered by fluke he'd shared his credentials with his brother and they were watching the same footie streams

Well, if the supplier is not monitoring that then that is down to them.
If they can’t see the same credentials being used twice on one connection on their server, then it is open to abuse.
The server would get over run eventually because everyone would just start sharing their credentials.

Don't what you mean no one said it is not possible to use 1 connection at same time but not allowed it will show up on the providers panel and then normally they would be banned , and i do not mean that someone who has perhaps left device connected and playing who may have just forgot to disconnect and then started streaming from another device that would be from same ipaddress. But what you are probaply talking about are the brother would have been at different house and different ipaddress, so two different ipaddresses would show up on panel watching same stream.

They'd been doing it for 7 months before I sussed them
And I'm talking about my friend had a sub I arranged through my supplier, it had a provider app, he downloaded the app on to his brother's firestick and logged in as he would on his, they'd been watching the same streams at the same time, I found out when by a fluke I went round the said brothers house to sort his laptop, I told the supplier cos I felt my mate had compromised me personally, he's no longer a mate

But the supplier should’ve noticed this on their server as they would have been logged on at the same time with the same username and password but the IP addresses would’ve been different.
In this scenario the supplier would have had the right to ban them that’s if they actually spotted it.

I agree but the supplier obviously didn't notice

What method did you use to change your public IP address to a static IP address?
Static ip address no one can change in a router only isp can change this ip for you, but for dynamic ip you can change yourself whenever you want to change.

I know this but how did you have your dynamic IP address changed to a static one and what was your reason?

Changed internet providers, but I don’t like the static address because you can’t change by yourself from the router.
