Minidlna server name settings

Hi. I have 2 ZGemma boxes and both show up on my smart tv as same name identity. How can it be changed?

Using wooshbuild 7.2 and don’t see the option in the settings/network/minidlna screen?

change it to what ever you want I have mine set to x box1

That’s not he one. I have changed in there but no different.

It’s where it’s called MINIDLNA SERVER

Looks like it’s possible to change but greyed out. This in is same place but rather than mounts go to minidlna server setup.

In the screen pressing enter takes you to a keyboard and then you can type in. Pressing red saves it.

But it removes the share folder ...

Bugger think I need to restore my backup again!

Sorted. It’s the skin. I was suing the Wb Sky one and mustn’t have all the options showing. Put the metric skin in and then all became clear.

In the minidlna setup screen you can go MENU and then in there you see all the options. The first one is the name and then RED to save or GREEN to homage the share.

Just had to search for this again was grateful to the OP for putting this in then realised it was me!

After setting share name and saving you have to press RED to save it again.
