NEED HELP WITH INTERNET SPEED

When I connected my PC direct to router I get 150mbps but when I connect my Nvidia shield I’m only getting 20-30mbps is there anything I can do. I don’t know why I can’t get 150mbps on my Nvidia shield when it has a 1000mbps capacity

you could be being throttled by your isp?
try changing dns to google's
8.8.8.8
and 8.8.4.4 see if it makes any difference

Thanks but why would it throttle my Nvidia and not my PC

they may be able to identify a streaming device, i don't know, certainly some magboxes have had this issue recently

I’ll let you know how I get on if it doesn’t work are there any settings on router I may need to change ?

not too sure, but don't think so, try the dns of box as they may not be able to recognise it as easily

So I’m trying to change dns on my Nvidia shield I get to the isp where I input 8.8.8.8 then it’s asking for gateway up address after that asking for a two digit network prefix length sorry to be a pain

Don't quote me on this but I believe that the nvidia shield is measured in MB/S Not MBPS but im not sure on it .
