Newcamd line put in manually

I have seen something about that but it looks like you can just lock certain channels I want to completely block the menu is this possible ?

If you go into menu / system settings/ Parental settings Then put menu lock on Then exit menu reboot your box _ Press menu Try and select something from the menu You will find you will not be able to select any thing till you put the password in IF you ever forget your password just type in 3327 (master password)

The default password is normaly 0000 you can select your own password if you want just change it and confirm it

Also, if you did have 2 boxes, but only ever had 1 on at a time, then you can use the same line with no problems.

Your provider might only get miffed if he only allows 1 box per line, but you run 2 at the same time.

Put it on your flash drive like this instead of N:etc enter "CWS = nonay14.abcde.uk ch***ied**ri* fatboy99 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14" without the quotes in a text file save as .list file(opens with notepad). Then enter it into as mgcamd.

can't put anything on flash drive my computers f**ked, thats why i need to do it manually

to the cccam.cfg file in root/var/etc and save

then restart cccam softcam form the menu.

but dont know what im doing wrong

Entering a CCcam line into the F3 or F5 via a USB stick

I've taken some of this from the openbox tutorial.

Format the USB stick fat32, so,this will be the only file on the stick .


(note if this doesn't work read post 25 I have recently found a slight glitch)


1. Create a file called CCcam.cfg using wordpad or notepad

2. Open “CCcam.cfg” file , and copy and paste the available code into notepad or wordpad and save it.

e.g.

(C Line)

C: test.dm800.com 12000 user1008 password


If you buy an N line

the method is the same, the line you paste in will look like this

N: test.dm800.com 12000 user1008 password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

Oh !! believe you need the capital C when you name the file "CCcam.cfg"

To load it on to your box use

Menu - Network Local Settings - Camds Setup - CCcam Client Setup - Update Files by USB

Press ok to put a tick (or green add button) next to CCcam.cfg (CCam plug)
Press yellow "read" button.
Let the box read in the file, Exit out of the menus and Reboot your box.

longside2014...are you sure that you haven't made any mistakes with uppercase/lower case letters etc. when putting in the line?

Your supplier doesn't sem to know much about Skyboxes, as the instructions he has given you is for a Linux box, such as a Dreambox.

Ignore everything about root/var/etc. & restarting CCcam from the menu (although you do need to reboot the box after entering the line to get it going).

When you look at your line details doeas it show as offline?

Does your youtube app show the headings for the clips when you click on a category on the left hand side (even though the clips might not actually play)? This will show if your internet connection is working OK.
