Glad you got it sorted mate, sorry I couldn't help more as have never flashed a multiboot box, thanks to @Willo3092 I have learnt something today.

I had a similar issue on my Zgemma H7. Box was stuck on boot so flashed bare ATV from USB, obviously no option to select a partition. Ran the command to install Grogbuild, selected partition 1 to install to (wasn't sure if main partition was 1 or 0), went through rest of the setup including selecting HDMI source and resolution etc, restarted the box and it was still bare ATV. Ran the grogbuild script again, just pressed enter on the select partition to install to instead of entering 1 and all good this time, the monkey is back.
