Offical Movie Thread

i saw that haunting in connecticut or well rather it saw me lol

it was bull i mean totally crap wouldn waste time anyone who wants to see it or might wanna

thought the unborn had potential looking at the trailers but what a disapointment,it had the makings of a good movie but something went seriously wrong somewhere.

I watched The Spirit last night. Kind of odd. There were parts that were pretty cool and very Frank Miller - overall; Sin City was better.

movies

I liked Gran Torino a lot. If left up to me, it would have easily pounded Slumdog for the best picture award. (Although that was a pretty good flick too)

good call mate both great movies, but for me being a clint fan gran torino should have won it brillliant movie.Btw watched trainspotting last night another great movie.

I watched Milk this evening. To be honest, i knew nothing about it except that Sean Penn won an oscar for it (i think) so i didn't realise it was one of those true story movies.

Having said that it was interesting, but was more of a docudrama than a movie i thought really.

Yep, Sean Penn took the Best Actor Oscar for Milk.

I'm gonna try and watch a film called Taking Chance tonight. Stars Kevin Bacon as a Marine who escorts a fallen Marines' body to his family.

i agree, haunting in conneticut was bullcrap, unborn was crap, no good scares out there lately!
watched the new fast and the furious the other night, not my kinda film but younger bro loved it
was looking forward to another sin city type film but heard the spirit didnt get great reviews, pity really

i thought Taken was a great movie, did anyone here think Quantum of solace was any good,i thought it was brilliant,Gran torino is a good movie and yeah the comments were hillarious

I thought Quantum Of Solace was a very good movie....loved that it continued from Casino Royale.

Gran Torino made me think Clint's character was a cross between Gunny Highway and Dirty Harry long since retired.

The Gaiety Theatre in Dublin has the shawshank on at the moment 7th.
Dont know wether I`d like it on stage though.

One of the best films Ive ever seen (y)

Yeah, i'm trying to picture a stage adaptation...not sure if i'd like it that way either. A fantastic movie though.

shawshank excellent ,excellent movie right up there with the green mile
seen the green mile in gold class cimena in Austrilia ,about 15 lazy boy seats that reclined right out and wine holder beside it plus the added touch of hot food being brought onto you at any pint in the film , and only about 6 dollars more than it costs here to see a movie.

I'm watching You've Got Mail right now on tv. This movie brings back more than a few memories.

I watched a movie called Idiocracy last night. I can see how our younger generations are turning out watching this movie. You can actually see the dumbing down of our society actually happeneing, and shows what might happen in the future.
