i have read Open ATV have removed softcams from their image so i was wondering if any one could send me a link to download mgcam 1.38 for there image ? so i could install it manually.

does it matter that this is a vix mgcam 1.38 because i have ftp to the tmp folder and installed it using ipk installer yet i can not find it to activate it ?

No it doesn't matter, MGcam is not written just for VIX, it is its own program. Glad your all sorted now anyway.
