I am trying to load Wooshbuild on to OpenATV v7 without success. Anyone managed to do it or will I need to wait for a more stable version of v7?

I assumed we were still on V6.4 or 6.5

Just seen V7 but I think it's still in beta?

On 6.4 and also tried 6.5 with the same issues. Just thought I'd like to upgrade.
not an upgrade at the moment still not even beta officially and think 6.5 will not be released at all moving to 7

As Wooshbuild tries to install it goes into a crash mode cycle. Perhaps I need to wait till the bugs are ironed out.

Open ATV 7 goes on with no issues. When I try loading Wooshbuild (Openwebif), all goes well then it goes into a crash loop.
Zgemma H9S, though I also have a Zgemma H7 so will go the same when it all works.

Wooshbuild probably won't be py3 ready yet as it hasn't been updated for a while. Probably best sticking with openatv 6.4
I hadn't seen this thread when I tried to install Wooshbuild and have run into the infinite reboot problem
I have an H7S on which I have flashed the following (online)
Slot 1 OpenATV 6.4 Sep 2 2021
Slot 2 OpenATV 6.5 - can't remember exactly, but something like EOL June 2021
Slot 3 OpenATV 7 - Sep 2 2021
Slot 4 spare / empty
I thought I would try installing Wooshbuild on top of OpenATV 7
I started slot 3, opened a terminal in OpenWebif, logged in as root and invoked
opkg install http://wbuildx.co.uk/setup.ipk
This command returned an error along the lines
Failed wget returned 4
I then saved the file at http://wbuildx.co.uk/setup.ipk on my local disk and transferred it to the H7S in /tmp using Filezilla
As root I changed directory to /tmp and invoked
opkg install ./setup.ipk
Pretty much straight away it failed saying it could not find a file and ever since the H7S has been constantly rebooting
It gets to about channel 49, and then the screen goes to BSD, saying it needs to reboot - see the attachment
Has anyone got any idea how I get to either of the other working slots (1 or 2) or how to recover from this state

opkg install http://wbuildx.co.uk/setup.ipk u trued by putty telnet ? open putty enter box ip,tick telnet,root should be pass then paste ALL THat in from the opkg to ipk
I think I have managed to recover the H7S
I followed Willo's advice in post #2 on this thread
Satellite - H7s stuck on boot
and then loaded an OpenATV 6.4 recovery image onto the formatted USB
I powered off the H7S, inserted the USB drive, held the button under the front flap and powered on
Sure enough, FLSH appeared
After flashing the box, powered down when 'boot' appeared, removed the USB, then powered up
The H7S booted into the recovery image and I got TV channels
After that I reflashed slots 1, 2 and 3 as before and will stick to OpenATV 6.4 with Wooshbuild
