Recording HDD upgrade

Hi i have a zgemma h2s running wooshmans build with the sly hd skin

I currently have a 128gb USB stick for the recording of programmes, how do I swap it for a 500gb external hdd without reflashing and loosing all my settings?

hope its a 500gb externally powered one ,initialize usb to mount it for use.

why are you better with external powered one ?
i have a 750gb usb powered works great

externally powered wont burn your ports out and hdd can spin down when not in use.
see how long it lasts before issues arise.

yes, then check your mount point and adjust recording path accordingly (and timeshift too if you use it!) You should also adjust recording paths for epg data and bouquets

hi all anyone know how to set up recording on the zgemma s2. i have formated my 64gb usb to fat32 now when i try to record i get a warning sign saying its full no space to record when the stick is empty
