Recording on a mag box

Trying to record from an iptv provider on my mag 254 but all I get is recording is forbidden has anyone else came across this problem?

Check with your provider if its allowed to record,You will need a duel line and have space on the portal to allow it

REMEMBER, MOST SHOWS AND EVENTS ARE AVAILABLE USING CATCH-UP SO HOPEFULLY THIS MEANS YOU SHOULDN’T MISS ANYTHING

Have you tried recording from m3u file using record manager that what worked for me on my 256 I set record from there and I can back out from there and watch a different channel in outer portal
