Setting up timeshift on SD card problem

Can timeshift be set up on SD card?
I'm getting this error message

And have you formatted it to ext3 or 4?

I'm no expert but I'm sure class 4 wouldn't be good enough as they have quite slow write speeds.
And if your on a HD channel that may be why

For the likes of you and me yeah , there are professional camera ones but there expensive.
I bought a 32gb sandisk class 10 from tesco on Monday for £6.50 :)

No I am on Openvix and for some reason it struggles to even initialise it for use .
But I've spoke to someone the other week who said they have used it for that

Format your SD Card to Ext4 on your PC with `Partition Wizard` or similar.

Pop into the side of the zgemma, no need to Initialise etc..

Conclusion:
Nearly all the flash drives I've tried struggle to record HD using timeshift or recording.
I'm now using a 2.5" 500GB USB HDD for timeshift/ swap file /recordings without a hiccup (yet)
To make use of the SD card I'm just storing the EPG on it (saves the HDD spinning up whilst your channel hoping and using the EPG)
Shoot me down in flames if anyone has it working flawless on the SD card [emoji106][emoji23][emoji23]
