Well to be honest I had found a better solution than dreamplayer, there's a XtreamIPTV client for kodi that works much the same as it does on the box, it was working just like the box does the problem is he's since made changes to his server setup, so the VOD section he has is gone now via kodi(it did work at first) and it kicks you off a live stream after 15mins(just like the bouquet links always do), you may want to check if you haven't watched properly for more than 15mins. You might be lucky with your supplier but most suppliers do that.
Siilver is right I was thinking the same myself, it even says one simultaneous connection in account the info of xtreamiptv so why should it matter if you watch it on a firestick or the box as long as you can only watch one or the other? I will probably fire him an email and explain it as we've already paid for it and want to at least make the most of it.
The main reason we got it was because of the US football channels once the season starts and most of the time we wont beable to watch that in the lounge. We also used to beable to watch Sly via kodi in two different rooms provided we were trying to watch the same channel(which was brilliant), since we upgraded to H5.2TC for Virmin only one person can watch at once... it might deserve a thread of it's own but does anyone know if this is due to a difference between virmin and sly or is it maybe this particular version of openwebif?
