Taking screen shots and uploading attachments to the forum

Using OpenWebif to take a screenshot

1. Find out the receiver's IP address by pressing/selecting on your remote: Menu > Information > Network


2. Open your web browser on PC. In the address/search bar, input/type the receiver's IP address

3. Click on Grab screenshot

Right click on the picture,
Click on "Save Image As"
A window will open, you can select where to save the file
You can also change the name. Using numbers as prefixes helps

To take another screenshot, if in another menu, click on the screenshot button again

Uploading attachments

You can attach screenshots and other files to your post. Some files must be zipped first. Large log files,xml files etc

Click on "upload a file" near bottom of the screen



In the next window that is shown, go to where your screenshot or file you want to attach is located and then select it, then click "open".
(If a file type is not allowed, zip/rar it.)



All attachments will be placed together at the bottom of the post.

If you want an image in the middle of a post click on where you want it and choose Thumbnail or full image



Once done choose save reply.

You can also drag and drop an image from your pc into a post

Or using an image editor like ms paint, cut and paste.
As an aside, the 'upload a file' button is only there for forum supporters
