Tips/Tricks for satellite signal during heavy rain

I'm wondering if anybody's got any tips or tricks for helping to keep some sort of signal when it's raining, especially heavy rain?

the weather has to be really bad. so it should not affect your veiwing to oftern.

Making sure your dish is correctly aligned, including skew.

If it's already aligned correctly, then perhaps you need a bigger dish.

The torrential/monsoon rains that started last year seem to be making a come back this year:) and I lost the signal during the heavy rain a few days ago.
The dish was set up by Sly when I moved into the house a couple of years ago. My signal strength is around the 70% mark
