Hi
Could someone tell me if I use TP links with a mag box, do I need to buy a mag box with the WiFi built in or can I just buy the Mag256?

the whole idea of TP links, or any other powerline adapter is so you dont need wifi
so, no, you wont need wifi if you use powerline adapters

they basically allow you to use your home electrical system to extend you Lan from your router to your device. Plug one into a 13A socket next to your router and use a patch lead to connect it. Do the same at a 13A socket next to your Mag box.

Much better than WiFi.

I have tp links setup with my mag 256 which is 3 floors up in the loft.The 1st adaptor is plugged in next to the router on the 1st floor and the other 1 in the loft next to my tv.They work perfect.
