VM CHANNELS FIX (23/4/2020) OSCAM ONLY!!

Yes Grogbuild Freerage will go onto a H2H but dont choose a 1080 skin, go for the vskin-hd instead.

When did you email them, it could be he is being bombarded with emails and if he is a cache server there is nothing he can do until all of his peers have fixed their servers. On the otherhand he may have just called it a day. Either way, lack of any communication is a sign of a poor provider, it doesn't take 5 minutes to send a bulk email to all of his users to let them know what is happening
 
Just installed Grogbuild and I cant find the Softcam menu or the Softcams. Anyone know where they are? I used to just press Blue on my other image
 
Try pressing green button twice and see if softcams are listed. if so is mgcamd in there?

EDIT: looks like the Packages.gz file on the softcam feed server is corrupt, which is why it's not installing them, it must have happened overnight. I am looking for alternative

Hi guys - thanks for the help with switching from mgcamd to oscam. After some repeated tries have managed to open a few channels - it's a partial success :)

However I'm still dark on some channels. Here's the oscam log for Channel 4 HD for example (which opened perfectly well under mgcamd)

ok its a broken link issue but if you still have gb instlled.

Open putty and enter the following command to install mgcamd 1.45 on mips box
Code: 
 opkg install http://updates.mynonpublic.com/oea/4.3/mips32el/enigma2-plugin-softcams-mgcamd_1.45c-r4.0_mips32el.ipk
or for oscam on mipsel box use the command
Code: 
 opkg install http://updates.mynonpublic.com/oea/4.3/mips32el/enigma2-plugin-softcams-oscam-emu_1.20+git1830+d512881-r0_mips32el.ipk
its a quick fix while atv sort their feeds out

I have it working again with an old zgemma h2 running openatv 6.1 and old oscam_atv 1.2 11353 version .......you dont need to install the lastest oscam and openatv for it to work
it does freeze a little now tho

So you've got mg1.45 installed now?
This doesn't mean you will get cable channels, your provider will let you know when it's fixed, until then, no softcams will do anything
