I think you can its on the site some were about it I think you put the open atv in your hdd using filezilla but not 100%
 
I have a new H9S and it had OpenATV 6.1 on it but when I ran infinity it is restarting and then keeps crashing. If I try to flash it back to OpenATV flash files and even iPab it still starts up with Infinity and keeps crashing.

Does anyone know a way around this. Thanks.
 
It isn't flashing if it returns to Infinity. Use the USB preparation tool in the downloads section to format your USB (regardless if you think it is OK). Flash openATV again and try infinity.

Infinity was made on the H9S and always is so if it is going to work on only one box it will be this one.
 
The picons are stored on the USB device as you have found out.

Uninstall and then re-install the plugins and it will ask where you want to install them to.

Green -> Red -> Picons - make note of the picon set you are uninstalling
Green -> Green -> Picons - select the pack you just uninstalled.

1. Flash your box with the version of openATV you want to use.

2. Open webif in your browser and connect to your box using the built in terminal

3. Open the terminal window & login as root. Then type the following simple command:
opkg install http://wbuildx.co.uk/setup.ipk

I can’t get the terminal window.

1. From remote Menu, Plugins, to OpenWebif, (Click OK) openwebif configuration

shows open Webif url: http://yourip:port. But doesn’t allow you to edit to put your link on it.

2. From remote Menu, Plugins, to OpenWebif, (Click Menu) setup configuration

Allows User feed url http://wbuildx.co.uk/setup.ipk

Click OK (green button)

How do I get it to go to this url?

Hi

Can you put in simple terms what it is you are having trouble with please as the above is a mish mash of information.

Flash the latest version of openATV on your box. If you are already running openATV you can do it from the blue button -> Flash online -> Green button -> select latest image -> Press green.

Once your box has flash you are at step one of setup.

when you open webif, you need to click on Terminal:
terminalwebif.jpg
This opens a window where you can type commands etc, login as root, as you can see here, my zgemma has been renamed as ps4:

I see, Gray is saying it should be on the computer?

sorry I didnt see any reference to using Webif......now to find it

Follow the instructions in the link I gave as it covers everything. Pablo's photos shows where terminal is too. You can do it from any device with a browser as long as it is on the same network as the box.
 
sorry, I'm a bloke who doesnt read everything....I blunder and finally get the results. ;)

Ok final question what is the login in and password for this box? Tiviar Alpha plus
