if you press the red button, not the standby red button(!) what appears on screen?

you may have to reflash it and go back to infinity installation page and follow instructions carefully as it seems you've not completed the setup
 
The screen shot just sent illustrates what happens on pressing the red button. It's strange, everything else seems to be fine. EPG etc, External HD setup. There's just no Soft cam panel.
 
For some reason the cams haven't installed for you.

Green button -> Green button -> Softcams -> CCcam 2.3.2 - Say yes to install this.

Once installed, exit right back to full screen and then press the red button.

Hi there. Just wondered if anyone has any advice to fix the freezing of some channels on VM cable ZGemma - LAN connection via powerline.

This isn't really a wooshbuild issue so it doesn't belong in this thread, start a new thread in the cable section, also what channels?
if it's movies and sports then that's not acceptable, if it's channels like SyFy +1 HD then this is more normal than you think, lots of lower tier channels freeze
 
Hi All,

running a zgemma h9s with open atv and wooshbuild infinity

I have been having problems with epg refreshing - and i adjusted and downloaded the cross epg info and set it to refresh automatically every day
after download completed i got a few error notifications - not sure what

now every 20-30 seconds my tv channel automatically changes from an iptv channel to a random normal channel and then changes again after 20-30 seconds again - and keeps doing it

anyone got an idea what i have done
 
Define restart? My boxes can be left on or in standby for weeks. If you do turn the box off, make sure you shut it down properly and not just turn it off at the back.
 
i mean menu >restart
i dont turn the box off at all- always leave it on - or the white icon is always lit up - i just change channels to get the stream working again - wakes it up
 
If you are in a position to initialise the USB when asked after you flash it might be worth doing. The EPG is stored on the USB so shouldn't be lost after a restart.
 
ok usb is always in and never gets touched and when intially setup i intialised it - do u think it is worth resetting up the box again - i do recall a message about the usb not being big enough - its a 32gb usb

That message will have been when you tried to download and flash openATV. The box hadn't seen your USB or it wasn't mounted as media/hdd.

If you can afford to lose what is on the USB at the moment, Initialise it again if only for the fun of it.
 
Go through the Infinity instructions again, you will be asked if it is OK to initialise your USB, say yes to it.

As you already have openATV on your box you can download the latest image from the blue button. This saves flashing from USB.
 
Once you flash openATV 6.1, exit the setup Wizard screens straight away and flash openATV 6.1

Do this by going back into the flash online screen and press the blue button to change from 6.1 to 6.2 - this will bring you right up to date.
