just got this of another thread for you have a read
Yes it can be done on the box with the remote, but that is a long way to do it.

First you need to determine whether your line is a c line or a n line.
So when you get your line or file (right click open with notepad)

If the line inside starts with "n:" or "CWS = " it's a n line if it starts with "C:" it's a c line.

I like to add lines through FTP. so download a client, Filezila is the most popular.

Go to Menu > Information > Network on your zgemma. *MAKE NOTE OF YOUR ZGEMMA IP*
Go to filezila,
Host: *ZGEMMA IP*
Username: root
Password: root
Port: 21

N Line

Navigate to usr/keys/ on Filezilla
right click newcamd.list View/Edit
Simply replace the "N:" in your line with "CWS = " like this:
CWS = vm.server.com 12000 user-10980 168248 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

for a cable line, paste your line in the top line of the newcamd.list document
for a sat line paste your line in the bottom line of the newcamd.list document
save the file.

On your Zgemma, menu> setup > Softcam/CI > Softcam Manager > Select MGcamd then restart box.

C Line

Navigate to etc/ on Filezila
right click CCcam.cfg View/Edit
simply paste your c line in there in the same format, "C: ********************************* 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14"

On your Zgemma, menu> setup > Softcam/CI > Softcam Manager > Select CCcam then restart box.

ha.

does that help if you have to change the n to CWS = MAKE SURE CWS is in caps then space then = space then rest of your line

In my USR/KEYS directory there is no file called "newcamd.list" Can I just make one in notepad the same way I can make a CCcam one?

have you pressed red button/softcams/make sure it says mgcamd 1.38r then green to restart cam and make sure line is right up against the left corner when you put it in newcamdlist one space out and it wont work

yes mate, done all of that and restarted the cam a few times and the box. Getting nothing. In the newcamd.list file, am I meant to put my line on the 3rd line under the 2 lines which are already there? I did exactly that but changed the N: to CWS:

and if you have got the 2 dots after CWS: GET RID OF DOTS

still no luck....my file reads like this:

CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000
CWS sky*******************************************************************

Is that the right format? the "sky" part is the beginning of my line.

no prob if you press green button/dream explorer/usr/keys/newcamdlist you will see your line to see if its right one then just exit
