And me! Everything is a headache first time round. Especially if you're new to E2 boxes.

Once you've done it once though it gets so much easier!!

Follow any guides to the letter!

Good luck installing WooshBuild v2 tomorrow. Follow every step of the instructions and you should be up and running in no time.

As long as you don't alter the file structure when you download the zip file the image will work.

The Line Transfer utility wont work as it is windows based. You will need to download a free FTP client for the mac and then manually transfer your line details to the folder usr/keys. The instructions will apply to you right up to running the transfer batch file. You can add / copy / edit the newcamd.list or cccam.cfg files as per the instructions.

If a Mac user has any other info I have missed please help jaymoore out.
 
Image worked fine, then lost signal at the wekend, reflashed last night up and running again, switched on tonight no signal again, reflashed still nothing, followed all the tips in posts for settings, redo f connectors etc, could the tuner be faulty, box 1 week old?

Have you checked the signal strength? If there is no signal, if you have a sly box still, plug that in and see if that works, that way you know if it is your box or dish / cable etc.

Very unlikely but have you re-scanned the channels using Green button -> AutoBouquets E2 ?

Try Filezilla for mac works for me , also as Wooshman said don't alter the file structure , i use The unarchiver to extract the build, then copy my line and overwrite the cam file in the put your line in box folder ,I open it with textedit , then ftp that file over to /var/keys on the Zgemma box.
 
Hi, looking for a bit of help with this image build, I'm in dublin, I'm trying to get the autobouquets for rep of ireland, I have it in order that 101 is rte one ect, but there is an extra row of numbers to the left so on my screen it looks like 1101 101 rte one, it's not affected anything just no matter what I do I can't get rid of extra numbers, also a bit of a newbie question what is the swap file, I followed the very clear and excellent instructions and I knew what everything was, just never heard of swap file before,

Just a quick post to say thanks Wooshman for the fantastic image and guide.
Completly new to this and bought a Zgemma H2S. Followed the guide and everthing went through without a hitch, including installing the line.

ok chaps ive had the h2s for a month or so and set it up with wooshbuild v1 and kiddacs sly skin. everythings running great but fancy the new update with picons and i assume audio sorted as sometimes get narrated especially on sly 1 !!!. my main question is will i lose all my recordings and any auto timers and timers i have as i have quite a few and dont think ill bother if i will lose them. if they will all stay then ill give it a go, i have read through the instructions again wooshman a few times, but im unsure where to start as they are the idiots guide to starting from scratch not to update( i am that idiot lol but managed great 1st time).

You won't lose any recordings if you make changes to the settings. At least I never when I took off the audio. Not don't the picons but on woohmans v2 thread just follow the step where he says about adding the picon.

i think ill manage the picons using instructions but how can i get the epg with channel numbers, assumed starting from scratch would be easier lol also its a little annoying on sly 1 with narration

Read wooshmans v2 guide, I haven't got it on my image, I know the channel numbers I watch regularly
