Just wandering im changing supplier so do i need to delete and reinstall my new suppliers xc plugin im confused

you just need to remove / change the username and password file
located - /ect/enigma2/xc_e2_plugin.xml

Simple answer is yes you do,Keep a copy of your line details as you may need to reflash your box if you cannot use file transfer programs

Thanks veterans ill try changing the user and password in the xml do i change the dns web address as well and if it fails will my supplier send me his xc plugin version

He could have a different setup,Best to ask as some give a script to load for epg which can be done using putty

I salute you tk hes away for a few days so didn't want to pester him ill just keep playing about and see how i get on ::but i think my odds are on the low low thank lads anyway

The xc plugin should not be touched unless it's an updated one, all the needs editing is the . XML file in etc/enigma2 with new URL and user and pass
