Xcplugin and .tv file

Just wondering if many people out there who got iptv on an engima2 box, who got the their service as xcplugin got a .tv file with it

And if you did, do you know to convert it to .tv

As I was wondering if people would like to know how to do it
Just a wee guide, I'm no pro and can only use my own experience
As mine came with xc and .tv

This would be interesting, would the guide help setup the EPG without having to access any plugins and so that the EPG is within the bouquets for the IPTV channels?

You will be able to do full EPG and record (well I can anyway)
I'm just not totally sure if my formate is totally the same to others

Doesnt the xc plugin have your m3u url? if so you can just download the m3u and use the m2b plugin or just convert it to .tv
Code:

Found something weird there

So I have the xcplugin and a .tv file install

So I went in to xc and went to a stream and came out of the plugin and when I came out it went to the channel on my bouquet .tv list

i take it the enigma2 iptv section isnt wanted or needed.
my post in the feedback and suggestion was removed

Its not hard to change a file and create lists but any help is good

For Vix

Install IPTVBOUQUET from Vix feeds

then go to Menu/Setup/System/Channel selection settings

Enable unlinked bouquets – change to YES
Green to save

then ftp your IPTV M3U or VOD list to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/IPTVbouquet/channels

but rename it to have .txt at the end rather than .m3u

Example playlist.txt

then Menu/Plugins/IPTVBOUQUET

Find your playlist.txt and press green to INSTALL to bouquets
Find your vodlist.txt and press green to INSTALL to bouquets

Then RESTART your box

Then go to channel list fav,s and your list will be in there

Does that way give you epg?
Was looking through the channel.txt files and no seeing any reference code

Mine gives a script to download the m3u and places it into bouquets and adds epg.xml files to run in epg importer.

The script also runs on boot so you always get the latest channels

That's the link yea

If you mean the link on posts 4 no that's just to convert the m3u to .tv, my script was given by my provider and will only work with them as it references to there streams
That script is done via their xtreme panel by including it in thier service
