I'm just using one of these, https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0051C2BWC/ref=pe_3187911_185740111_TE_item
On the viarks you can turn that setting off. A lot of people suddenly found there dishs moving without their consent.Have to say my GT Media V8UHD box has a life of its own LOL, today it reset the power standby, front panel brightness, and reset the all channels order. It didn't clear my favourites as previously.
Have checked if it has updated the firmware its self and still dated the 7th July, and I cant see anywhere in settings to stop the channel list auto updating.
MAD ! LOL
I think that's the same as the one I have (even though mine doesn't say "master and slave" it only works correctly when only one box is powered on at one time. I really would like one that wouldn't mind if both boxes were on at the same time? Is this where Unicable LNB is required?I'm just using one of these, https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0051C2BWC/ref=pe_3187911_185740111_TE_item
I was thinking motorised dish ok for one person but no good for different persons in homeOn the viarks you can turn that setting off. A lot of people suddenly found there dishs moving without their consent.
Use a twin lnb on the end of the dish, one feed to the motor and then to feist box and the 2nd feed direct to 2nd box.I was thinking motorised dish ok for one person but no good for different persons in home
but how does that work if dish moves both are still pointing at the same satelliteUse a twin lnb on the end of the dish, one feed to the motor and then to feist box and the 2nd feed direct to 2nd box.
Yes that's right if you want different satellites then it's either a 2nd dish or fixed dish with multiple lnbs on an arm.but how does that work if dish moves both are still pointing at the same satellite
That's the one I have. It allows both my Vu+Solo2 & Viark 4K to each move the dish. I never unplug either of the boxes to achieve this.I'm just using one of these, https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0051C2BWC/ref=pe_3187911_185740111_TE_item
I'll try later on , so both powered on and it doesn't mess either box up , you can view both the same time different rooms , obviously same channelThat's the one I have. It allows both my Vu+Solo2 & Viark 4K to each move the dish. I never unplug either of the boxes to achieve this.
I can check when I get home, but I'm pretty sure the Vu+Solo2 (which I don't often use) is connected to slave, and the Viark4K is connected to master. Both boxes are always powered up(though the Vu+Solo2 would usually be on standby. I can use the Viark to move to 16e for instance, turn that one off and start using the Solo2 and move dish to 19.2e. All works fine. Both remain plugged in with power all the time. (Though whichever box I'm not using would be on standby). I've never tried watching in 2 different rooms. Both boxes are in my lounge.I'll try later on , so both powered on and it doesn't mess either box up , you can view both the same time different rooms , obviously same channel
Ah ok. Never given that any thought. Sorry if I got your hopes upAh yeah that's how mine works it's fine at moving to different sats whilst one is in stand by. But it doesn't allow you to view on both at the same time. I only use the GT atm the Vu and xtrend are in the bedrooms.
Yeah and the sh1t games miss out not an ice breakerI don't understand what you mean? Last Season 2022/23 BT Sports showed an average of 9 games live per week.
On your remote yes.I was going to ask is it possible to manually make a favourite bouquet list for say just sports (footy) that inc's all the relevant sats for the forth coming season
