VM CHANNELS FIX (23/4/2020) OSCAM ONLY!!

hi guys im new to oscam and could do with some help ive done all the above but still nothing clearing on my box, if i select a chanel and go on the oscam portal that shows what i am supposed to be watching but its not clearing, is there something i should be doing withe the config files or anything ?? thanks in advance for any help
 
I'm not sure why but I was trying oscam latest but it only seemed to open a few channels on and off. I thought I would try oscam emu and that worked for me.

What I did was added the same checkbox to my user and emulator and also had to add caid 1841 to emulator then restarted cam.

This might have been a coincidence if provider was doing work but when I try oscam latest it wouldn't work switched back to emu and it works. Still some channels not working but most are.

This may not work if provider hasn't done work there end.

Download my resource.. oscam setup/guide/instruction and try the same server file in there with you providers details added to it.
There are many varieties people use for oscam server file but that one works brilliantly.

thanks for that but not to sure if all done correct the box shows on the oscam portal with the channel that is suposed to be on (but not clearing on my box) are there any changes that i need to make to the config file ?

I’ve never had to change any of the config files.
I use grogbuild.
I may have changed something once when was using whooshbuild, can’t remember what it was I changed thou. That was nearly 2 years ago thou.
 
Well my provider has done the change and I didn't have to change anything my end in my oscam for the channels to clear so result. I forwarded the information provided here so thanks a lot people.... Sever I connect to is multcs so not sure if thats why I didn't have to alter anything on my oscam side of things.

I'm trying to change over to Oscam but falling at the first step.
Read all the stuff on here but still failing.
I see most of what is writen on here is for Atv or builds.
I'm running OpenVix and want to keep using it so ...... can anyone help out... please ?
I've got details from my provider but don't know where to put them to start with.
I've used Filezilla in the past and put my details in usr/keys when using mgcamd.

Help ... please

click on readers, then click on your line on the left next to the green power button, make sure "Drop CWs with wrong checksum" & "Skip CWs checksum test" are ticked, then scroll to the bottom of that page and press save.

then check your channels

Are you using oscam web interface?

Type your box ip address in web browser to bring up openwebif if oscam is active you should see OSCam Webinterface on the left click that. Now in OSCam Webinterface you should see at the top readers click on the readers and you should have the tick box

Tick them both then save and restart oscam
