Viark VIARK TYPE BOXES

Thanks for your reply
I know all the above but I was thinking about adding a another iptv line
You can yes not in front of mine to be 100% specific but it somat like this

MENU -NETWORK APPLICATIONS-NET LINK and press OK.

Should be able to put your line in there.

You can also load a M3U file somewhere in the configuration section but id have to have a look this evening if it does not seem obvious to you.

Its already got iptv installed, maybe not all the channel you want but it does come with one years iptv and 3 years connection to a server.
It’s 6 months iptv on the sat 4k model- that’s was what it was in my case and the iptv service was off for about 2 months during that time as well.

28.2 is offline for me right now except few SD channels, other satellites working well. Is this same on the line which some people have?

I have been following the posts with interest! But it seems to be a full time job to get anything working, I know when I first was introduced to the Sat CS some years ago that seemed gobblygook till I joined the Forum and got there with help!
I have plenty of time on my hands being retired ! I'm not jealous of what the viewing could look like ! I would be worried I wouldn't be able to get a game of golf in with the time I would have to spend playing with my dish!

I know this much about these boxes and i actually have one and im using it. I also have various e2 boxes the latest a Octagon 8008 and 2 formuler IPTV boxes. Since the Viark came i rarely need to turn these on.

Come MotoGP, Boxing, WSBK, Footy ill be watching it in glorious 1080p @ 60hz with nothing more then powering off Router, Hub and Viark and restarting it all.

Had the Viark 6 months and im very happy with it.

Each to their own this is my feedback from using one.

I fully agree I have had nearly 6 months from mine now and can’t fault the picture quality. It’s only recently that 28.2e has started playing up but who knows what’s going on behind the scenes be it turf wars or whatever. I would not currently recommend it for a fixed satellite but it’s ideal for a motorised setup which works really well as the other sats across the arc don’t seem to be affected by the outages.

Is it possible to install IPTV on VIark sat 4k box?
Thanks goes to farrio for this.

TO ADD CHANNEL LISTS: IPTV

1st Configuration Menu, and in Load M3U file mode set to AUTO
2nd Create a folder on the Pendrive and call it IPTV.
3rd Put the m3u list or lists in the root of the USB.
4th Menu / Net & Games / USB / select m3u file / Red button Tools / Copy to / IPTV
5th Now we go into the NETWORK APPLICATIONS MENU, we select NET LINK, and there will appear the list or lists that you have just loaded.
4th It works better with a network than with Wi-Fi
5th In order not to get an unsupported audio or video Codec message, it is necessary to deactivate the Cccams

I think even if we get few months of 28 on viark (or other) boxes, its like we have recovered our money + IPTV + other satellites still open

the drs boxes have known issues with motors. I think you’ll have to try using a low powered lnb
