I paid about 30 for my harmony, but that was about 6/7 years ago. 15 for the one4all.What sort of money is paid on these.
the pc method is a bit, but if your volume button still slightly work, you can set it up in about 4 or 5 minutes just by using the two remotes.Sounds quite complicated if I'm being honest mate.
Yeah, they’ve got no code for it straightaway. But you can programme it from your old remote in under 5 mins.
I’ve got the 1280, same price but with 8 devices. Only downside is, it’s a bit longer, so not as ergonomic.
Yeah, it’s got the learning feature, page 10.

Can you put the receiver’s volume at 100% and just control it from tv instead? That way you can Programme the volume buttons using the tv remote.
This is mine
One For All Contour 8 Universal Remote Control –: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics
Just buy two and use them to programme each other lol.Don't have my Panasonic remote anymore so that will be a problem then when it comes to the universal remote.

If you can get some signal out of your current remote, it might work, but I’m not sure how strong the receiver is on the one for all.
Yeah, you can just switch to tv mode to control the volume.
If you have an old sky remote lying around, or can grab one off anyone. You can use that to programme the volume buttons.
Why no panny remote and does tv have buttons for manual use?
By functions, do you mean buttons? It’s only got the basic ones - I’ve uploaded a picture. I do have a few keys missing compared to my other remotes. I bought this one as it can control eight devices, so if I get anything new, I can just add it on to here.
Have a search on here for the tv, as normally there’s a few codes for each manufacturer.
Universal Control Setup
Ye went on that link before but not sure what the URC code is. Really don't want to get new Panasonic remote just to programme but may have to.
For me having remote control tv and box is all really need it for.
Ye meant buttons. Same here some buttons that are on the originals are not on the Essence 4. But not a major issue tbh.

One way to get around this to programme the missing buttons to another device.
So I assume you have programmed the technomate remote to say the Sat option on your remote. Any extra buttons can be programmed to the dvd or like vcr option on the one4all remote.
It then just becomes a case of trying to remember how you programmed it lol.
