Just a heads up. Since the last update the EPG is not pulling through properly on some services. It is all over the devs discord group but should not effect anything if using supplier hacked version
 
Will be fixed pretty quickly id guess, not the most likeable bloke the dev on a personality front but he will be all over fixing this.

If it’s only on some services then I would look to the providers epg and not the app
 
Nearly all epg is xmltv format so should be able to read that. If all other apps ate reading the TV guide its obviously something he has done. I have 2 suppliers it reads some of it. But

all read it fine 100%

Mine hasn't most suppliers are using the previous version so will be fine.

No. Cant but I haven't found 1 supplier who pays for a original copy of IMPLAYER for their customers. And I know quite a few. Christ bazz the majority make them use there own apps. So common sense tells you the situation
 
The full epg not loading seemed to be more with devices running out of memory after the update to 2.5. It could be related that on some dvices the update appeared to not overwrite some data but replicate it, so installed prog size was far greater ( I had that on one device and cured it with fresh install). 2.5+ was quickly released to address issues but many affected devices need app removing and fresh install then put data back using backup.

I have a sheild mate it has more than enough memory. Its just really strange how it just skips stuff randomly like in entertainment most of its done except BBC and USA groups most done except movies.
 
Another "issue" encountered by some iMPlayer users is that with all the added coding and the loading and caching of multiple playlists (and vod) the refresh update is a lot slower to complete. Channel hopping etc before completion can cause issues for some especially if device has limited memory to complete the background tasks.

Just because you know quite a few means fekk all bud and cause you havnt found 1 supplier who pays for original dosnt mean anything.
for example I provider pays for legit purple on iOS and xciptv but he won’t allow his end users to use them only he can use them and has original implayer

What I was saying bazz in the post above is that suppliers who use IMPLAYER for there customers probably have it hardcoded on previous version. Which is working perfectly fine.
