Is it worth dusting off the old Zgemma's box even if its just for SD Sly as a back up to IPTV?

Mainly want sports dont care much for the rest

Personally it wasn't for me, the only real benefit was being so close to live

What is channel line up like? I was still using until mid 2020 when BT and asian channels were about the only chanels working.

Think it had the majority of channels, main ones anyway. Sky sport, bt, movies, entertainment etc

You could add an IPTV line to your H7 using Jedi Xtreme Maker and even use the box to record IPTV content.

I got an old box star2 its not really upto handling iptv but it was handy for my folks who could use sky like interface with chanel numbers

That would not run the newer SD channels anyway even if you could find a provider which is not easy. The newer system uses stream relay and the old star 2 box is slow and will not have the beef to clear the channels. They were rubbish to be honest.

Yeah it wasnt a great box struggled before and just about servered its purpose. Thanks all for info.

I’m guessing my gigablue trio would run the icam line ok?
Still not got a provider but was hoping to use it similar to how I use freesat just now mainly for recording

It will run icam no probs if you can handle watching SD channels.😗
