The IPTV Crackdown Continues: A Thread For Customers Not Resellers

lol in yer dreams. He was a business man making money and he ripped people off unless anyone can prove otherwise. Stop being so stupid in thinking because he was at it a long time that makes him decent. I don't give a shcit now he's gone I'll move on but I find it hilarious people like you are naïve enough to think he is some sort of good guy cos he stayed in business for a few years.
and had a competitive price that got him more custom.
There is NO acceptable reason for what he done. He's a scumbag. Unless of course I can be shown otherwise.
We can all think what we want that;'s my view. The realist one.
Probably one of the most common sense posts on here, anyone who knows how iptv is run, will see that the guy in question has made a cash grab at the end and switched servers.........wouldnt surprise me if he just restarts agin in a month or so........seen it happen loads over the years

I'd be taking a month from someone else by now.
I always say to folk pay month to month......offers more protection

I was replying to the post 4 up from this

There was no mention of taking a month and then subscribing for a year.

It was said that paying monthly offered more protection.

I think it's if the server decides to cut the service or if it's shut down you won't loose as much subscription to paying a year.

Probably a false sense of security as you could be with the same service for multiple years paying monthly then you have lost out of saving money.

Correct.

Pay for a year, if it shuts down 5 months in you are quits, any more you are ahead.

Should I have a server to sell to people I would love every subscriber to pay a month at a time 😂😂😂😂😂

Yes a month at a time first till built trust but by the sound of it the server had been around for years and trusted.

Some even had been paying £25 a year according to previous posts I doubt paying monthly would be beneficial in that case
so you reckon if he was charging £25 a year it was, even if he took monthly subs around the £2 mark per month?

i know of someone who was one of the first out there to offer iptv, at a pure guess that was about 8 years ago.

he is still going strong now.

do you think it would be a a good idea to have been paying him monthly for 8 years ?

No probably not that's why I said I doubt it would be beneficial in that case.. £25 a year must have been to long term members or those doing recommendations and classed as resellers? I'm not sure tbh just going by older posts

I doubt it would be much less than £10 a month for monthly subs

i have no idea what he was charging to who. nobody has ever said there were preferential rates. there are no preferential rates now anyway.

in fact , nobody seems to actually KNOW fook all.

my opinion is this, which is purely conjecture -

he was a reseller.

he wasn't busted, his server supplier was or he and his supplier fell out.

either way, if he was charging £25 a year as a reseller then he was doing it for peanuts, depending on how much you assess the price of peanuts to be.

I think August 2017 was the start of the football season that CS died and iptv became a big thing.

This is where it was confusing some said they was charged more £45 or more. These posts have gone though since the forum issues. Possibly the owner doing cheap rates and resellers charging more.

I think the main issue for some is they suspected issues after the provider/providers asking for bitcoin then it went down. They feel like whoever was taking the money knew what was happening but carried on taking payments.

Most is hear say with no factual information so it's all speculation

i delete my emails very rarely.

having just checked i can easily go back to january of 2014 in regards to contact with an iptv supplier. maybe 2017 was when it became a big thing for some.

When did CS go dark on the UK Sky Sports channels?

how did he fleece people?

he will have had his reasons to shut up shop, of that i have no doubt.

im also guessing, as a reseller he would not have the funds to repay any outstanding subs.

absolutely no idea. all i am saying is i spoke to a big supplier on the date mentioned.

in regards to crypto payments, the last i read was that he requested a payment via crypto a few days before going dark?

if that is indeed the case the majority of his subscribers wouldnt in all honesty know how to send crypto.

Those of us on the inner circle know that the service he sold/resold is still running fine.

Yes from what I can remember these effected would be better replying than me who had just seen a few posts.

Most of what you have asked has been answered so it might be best looking back to check apart from the posts that have been lost.

Edit I don't know anything about the service still running or about the "inner golden circle"

The only people who got fleeced here is his resellers. The guy who had a subscription for himself or a few friends is hardly taking much of a hit.
