I see now why you need an all in one device.
But it does limit your choices a lot.
It’s not something that I’ve really looked into, but it seems now that the only devices that support all UK catch-up apps are Amazon,Apple TV and smart TVS.
I don’t think the Chromecast supports Channel 4.
I find it a bit ludicrous that there isn’t more devices that support free to air UK catch-up channels.
It’s probably all down to the UK TV licensing laws.
Also, Amazon and Apple are in the top five richest companies in the world so that might have a bearing on it as well.
Well if you use iptv it shouldn't matter if they have catchup and good vod collection.

Catch-up on iptv has a limited time period as I would imagine that some programming may be limited on official UK catch up apps but not all.
My iptv catch-up is limited to 7 days and I don’t rate VOD on any of the subs I have had over the years as it is limited in the amount of content and in picture, sound quality compared to using content sourced from RD.
Iptv is decent for live tv and PPV and some catch-up but the rest I personally don’t rate it.
I sort of agree but most iptv have around 15k movies and 2k boxsets with regulaur updates you will never watch that.
But the advantage of using say streamio and RD you will get a load of 4k.

Yeah my main reason for using RD is for picture and sound quality. Also access to my own RD storage.
Yes using RD is just as good as any plex sub with correct setup

I have not used plex but not sure how a plex server could compete with the amount of servers RD has got.
Plex would be dependant on owner.

Mines with Evri too so will probably be tomorrow or Saturday when mine arrives I’ll do some testing to see how it performs but will keep hold of my 2nd gen 4k max for now until
I know how good it really is

Missus just said it's been delivered. Was with everi driver this morning early on. Quicker than I thought.

When I have bought item’s from Aliexpress less than £135 I have never had additional charges added on.
I bought a remote a couple of months ago and I paid the exact amount as shown.
