Questions and input regarding motorised set up on VIARK and ENIMGA 2

ok doing so more testing. I found duplicate sky sports HD channels which are working on those ones. But all the TNT sports channels have choppy playback.

OK did a rescan not that it would have made a difference and again all the tnt channels have weak signal but rest of the channels are OK. How do some channels within the same satellite freq have signal issues and others do not?

When I get home I'll check the signal on my vu ultimo 4k and see if it's doing the same thing where it goes to weak signal for a split second on tnt sports HD. I know there won't be picture but it will give me the readings right?

I'll feedback when I can. Would appreciate any help in getting picture sorted on viark for TNT.
Hope it's a possible fix

OK just feeding back. On my ultimo I'm get a solid lock on the same channel

Snr 48 percent
Acg 66percent

11582 H 23000 2/3.

I guess it's just a viark issue when it comes to that particular frequency.
Both longitudinal values and other values are the same.

Its really close but flickering a lot

OK I've played a bit with the values and I managed to get it like 90 percent stable

Flickering ever ever so slightly.
I didn't realise viark lat long numbers are super sensitive

LNB Skew is incorrect nothing to do with receiver/s .
Your installer supplied the worst LNB Possible so really no surprises there and FAILED to adjust correctly your LNB Skew resulting in the Glitching / pixelations .

On my Viark Sat 4K TNT Sport HD 11582 H 23000 Signal - 93% Quality 74%
TNT Sport 1/3 SD 11686 v 23000- Signal = 93% Quality 77%
TNT Sport 2/4/5/6/7/8/9/10 All Left or Stopped working some weeks ago ...

I'm using inverto black ultra lnb. That's one of the best

Tbf every other channel is working properly. Tnt ones are the channels that had signal issues.

Signal quality on all other channels is perfect.
I've got it like 90 percent perfect after adjusting the usals coordinates

The tuners on these cheap boxes don't come close to premium made ones
If your having to change your Usals settings etc V & H channels then it would possibly indicate your not plumb , but then you say your Vu is perfect. You really should be using the correct Usals for your location to track the arc properly. What happens if you put it on TNT and tweak the motor slightly left or right , see if the signal improves

I've never altered my skew on a Lnb just have it straight on the holder , moving in forward and back yes, but that's the point on the motor to adjust the skew. Well that's my understanding. Guys feel free to enlighten me if I'm wrong

Tbf it might have been my mistake it coordinate was set to 51.5 when it should have been 51.4.

Now none of the channels I was playing with had any issues with signal and so I didn't think it was point changing it.

After changing this to 51.4 tnt channels have started playing properly. Every now and the slight slight pixelation.
Obviously these channels are very sensitive and so I think I've found the fix but will do more testing.

Thanks

I don't plan to touch my dish. I don't have a ladder and can't reach it from the window.
Like you said these tuners are prob not the best but I think i have got it working now

HI Guys

I seem to be having an issue with astra UK channels and signal lost. I havent used my viark in a few days and just was using it now but i am getting signal issues. So some of the sky sports HD channels work and some dont. None of the TNT sports channels are working. I dont get it, it was working perfectly when i had my guy in and we checked everything.
Is there anything i can do to help fix this?

I am sending a link showing the issue

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1h-CmNv4JdZEhaleVrwVP304fV0QXdl98/view?usp=drive_link

Its like the channels ending in V in the code is a problem but H is ok. but TNT is H and it is really poor.

Do i need to rescan for channls or change anything?
66 percent on 28e is poor with a 1 meter dish

First thing i notice is your lnb has about an inch of focal travel in the lnb holder.

Slide the LNB all the way in toward the dish to see is signal is improved and also check no skew had been applied to the LNB on a motorised system the LNB should vertical.

Hi

OK will have a look when I can get close enough. I'm worried if I mess around with it I might just mess it up completely

Tbf tnt sports all works perfectly now and I haven't had any signal issues on any other channels.

Let's see how it holds up in the heavy rain and will report back.

Appreciate the feedback

Why don’t you just use your Zone 1 dish for 28.2E?

Because viark only has one tuner. (speaking of which is there ever scope for twin tuner version of these boxes)
The fixed dish is a unicable set up for my enigma2 oscam and fta channels for the rest of the house.
I have a legacy port free in case my motorised dish fails and I can use my viark for sky sports HD and tnt sports.

So when you said that the channels are getting enough signal on your VU box, was that using the Zone 1 dish?
