Great, I am going to look at adding a support section to our site where customers can login and download firmware etc for boxes

The box above is on my list. I do not fully understand streaming links. m3u for instance. Using old laptop i3 intel onboard graphics with ubuntu and VLc installed and opening single test url's from Ghub fine.
I am missing something. How would VLC open lots of channels. Big gap in knowledge here. If I paid for server would it be a index with links to channels. Any help would be welcome.

Did you ever get a box? Formuler or Buzz Tv are the way to go. They won't be affected by google rules of sideloading since they aren't official android.
