Download FilmPlus-Latest

I still have it closing after a time, but it's enough time for me to find an episode, pick a source and get maybe 45s into it. Once it's playing, it's fine. It did look as if one of the updates had fixed it, but the issue came back. I haven't had chance to narrow down the circumstances - for a while I thought it was fine until I cast the screen from my tablet to the TV, but that's not it.

I've installed the latest version 2.4.3r1 from the above link, and unfortunately my "Film Plus has stopped" message now appears after a couple of seconds, while it's still drawing the opening screen with the "trending" list. Going back to 2.4.2r allows me to see the list and pick stuff from it - and as I try it now it's just carrying on working, where normally it would end after a minute or two.

Maybe we're just reaching a point where the age of the device isn't compatible any more. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 with Android 5.1.1.

I must remember to regularly save my favourites and watched programmes before doing updates.

2.4.2r continues to work for me, but it does give the "Film Plus has stopped" message a short time (~1m) into watching something, though I can live with that as it waits long enough for me to select something. Subtitles don't seem to work any more - I can choose "play with subtitles", it'll present a list of subtitle options, but pressing any of them doesn't result in play starting, it just sits at that menu.

Regarding saving my favourites and watched programmes, unfortunately that fails straight away and closes Film Plus. When I get a minute I'll revert to a previous version and see if the subtitles come back, but I need to finish a couple of series off first so I don't have to try to remember where I was.

One final strange thing is that, for some reason, it seems to default to playing the series "Dahmer" when I haven't selected it. Trying to watch the final two episodes of "Cross" last week, I watched one thinking "weird, this must be some sort of flashback sequence and we'll return to present day soon, or some familiar character will appear" but nothing. I started jumping forward through it, and at the end the title "Dahmer" appears at the start of the credits. Last night I thought I'd watch the first episode of "Entourage" as I haven't seen it for ages, picked a source, was a bit surprised it was 49m as I thought it was a 30min broadcast length, started watching it and that was another episode of Dahmer. This week I went to watch that same episode of "Cross" and it played correctly, but thought I'd watched it as it started playing at the end credits. Must be some sort of mix-up somewhere. As an ex IT bloke it intrigues me, and that's the only reason I mention it.

Almost scared to post this after getting my head bitten off in another thread but here goes.

Filmplus is crashing on me now on both firestick and android phone. It boots up but as soon as the home screen appears it crashes.

Is was behaving funny as per previous posts but you could still use it. But over the past week or so streaming links have been limited and not good, cutting out during a show.

Why not use Streamflix - with Provider - TMDb (English)
Once loaded it gives you updates, no need to keep downloading updates from here.

Here's FilmPlus 2.4.7r2
I don't know if it's any better or not, try it & see.

Downloaded and installed on my android phone.
Works ok and give me a list of streaming links but nothing happens when I click on a link. Had this before and it was the player. I tried the internal exo player no joy.
I've bear player 2.20.22 and it didn't work. Maybe it needs updated?

I've tried it on my Firestick 4K Max & it's working fine.
This is the latest version of Bear Player - Bear Player 2.20.28

It installed ok on the phone but wouldn't install on the firestick until I removed the older version.

Unfortunately this version of filmplus isn't working properly on my firestick. Its behaving similar to before by jumping back pages but even worse. Streaming links are very limited.

Don't like the style of it.
I like a screen that displays all my favourite or currently watching shows so I can easily select one.
On Streamflix you have to scroll across until you find the show you want.
I think it is more aimed at movies than series.
But with the way that beetv and filmplus are behaving I might have no choice but to use it!
I guess once I get used to it I won't mind the layout.

I've just installed 2.4.6r1 on my Android tablet, and unfortunately it still dies with "stopped" before it starts to draw the trending list. I installed it because I'm getting no sources at all when using my old 2.4.2r release, and I was hoping it would help out with that. I'll revert to the old version and hope it's just a temporary thing, but I think I'll download one of the others and try it. Bee Player brings up one source, but then says "Playback failed" after a second or two, but that might be different later today, sources seem to vary by time. Streamflix won't copy onto the device for some reason, I'll try that again later too. It just gets about 50% through then closes the copy window on the PC.

Latest version is FilmPlus 2.4.7r2 - use with Bear Player 2.20.28
StreamFlix, FilmPlus & BeeTV all work okay on my Samsung Galaxy phone, maybe tablets are different.
OnStream works okay too.

I've installed that version of FilmPlus and it is able to draw the "trending" list and allows me to select something to watch, but offers no sources for any of the five or six things I just tried. I'll have to try that again later. It still quits with "FilmPlus unfortunately stopped" after a minute or so.

I get a parse error when I try to install that version of Bear Player - is it fair to say that it hasn't got as far as the player at the point it's showing sources? That only kicks in after I've selected "play" or "play with subtitles", doesn't it?
